April 3, time to pick up the 16" scope ... there was lots of snow in Flagstaff so Nez lent me his Suburban to keep the scope dry on the way home. full Brad Ehrhorn's observatory with a big clamshell dome. full
Meade 16" LX-200 mounted in Brad's observatory. A wide angle shot in a 12' dome can't show it all. full Clean! full

More snow that night in Flagstaff ... this was the night before driving home ... the truck was buried in the morning ... oh well, I shoveled it out and followed a snowplow for about an hour on I-40 until it cleared full Back home safe and sound, set up in the kitchen. Dawn's not terribly impressed with the view through the skylight. full
