Bit Density Distribution Studies

  • Using MDDR database with Daylight bit string, given varied query sizes the size distributions of retrieved actives for 13 coefficients were carried out.
  • The distribution of Simpson behaves like that of Rusell/Rao when query size is small but behaves like that of Forbes when query size is large.
  • The distributions of , Cosine, Fossum, Pearson and Stiles are very similar at any query size.

    Notes:

Another experiment that we have done is to study the size distribution of retrieved actives for 13 coefficients resulted in Kendall’s Tau using MDDR database with Daylight bit string. The distribution of Simpson coefficient behaves like that of Rusell/Rao when query size is small. When the query size is large, its distribution behaves like that of Forbes. Another finding is that the distributions of Cosine, Fossum, Pearson and Stiles are very similar at any query size.
