Object Synopsis

cycle -- object representing a ring in a molecule

Description

A cycle object represents a ring in a molecule -- it contains the atoms and bonds of the ring. Streams of atoms or bonds are used to enumerate a cycle's contents (see dt_stream()). The only property of a cycle is whether or not it is aromatic (see dt_aromatic()). Cycles can not be modified directly -- they are computed from the molecule's connectivity when dt_mod_off() is applied to the molecule.
