Careers Software Engineer We have two positions available at our Santa Fe, NM Research and Development offices for software engineers/developers. Responsibilities will include designing, implementing, documenting, and testing software related to the representation, archiving, retrieving and manipulation of chemical structures in toolkits, database systems, and applications used by major life sciences companies. Successful candidates will have a BS degree or equivalent in Computer Science, significant software development experience in C and/or Java, experience with tools for code versioning, testing and debugging, good design and documentation skills, and a record of accomplishment. Favorable consideration will be given to candidates with prior experience in the cheminformatics domain, experience in web services and applications, and experience integrating software within Oracle and interfacing applications to Oracle databases. Candidates with science backgrounds or development experience with scientific software are encouraged to apply.
